Dr. Benjamin Hagendorf, MD

Board certified in general surgery as well as surgical critical care medicine, Dr. Hagendorf comes to Winthrop from The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he served as a Trauma/Critical Care/Acute Care Surgeon as well as an Assistant Clinical Professor Department of Surgery at the John A. Burns School of Medicine in Honolulu. After earning his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine, Dr. Hagendorf completed a general surgery internship at Vanderbilt University, followed by a general surgery residency in the Department of Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. From there, he went on to complete a trauma/surgical critical care fellowship in the Division of Trauma at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School University Hospital.
